Mother Child Duo Needed for a Short Film "Meat Crayon"
ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Directors are currently in need of a child ages 7-8 (preference will be given to real-life parent-child duos, but all submissions are welcome) for production of "Meat Crayon". More details are below. About the project: Synopsis: A young girl is taught to color by a mysterious figure and mentor named Mr. Meat Crayon, whose art supplies come from a horrifying source. Rate: Non union. Low. Honorarium. Additional information: Length: Short film (6 mins). Genre: Horror/Slasher. Production Type: Independent. Location: Toronto, ON. Shoot Dates: ½ rehearsal day + 1 shoot Day. Playing 5/6 years old. A curious and joyful child, Jordan is full of innocent wonder. They spend much of the film chatting casually with their mentor, Mr. Meat Crayon, while coloring a picture, completely unaware of the danger lurking around them. Their innocence and playful energy create a stark contrast to the unfolding horror. The actor should be naturally cute and bubbly. Aiming to cast a more mature child who looks younger. Mother 35-45 years old.
