Casting Teen Performers for "Gift of the Magi" Show

High school-aged performers are invited to audition for the "Gift of the Magi" Show. Please see the details below. About the project: Jim and Della eat potatoes for dinner every night and stuff their boots with newspaper to get by, but everything they want is for each other. They're so head-over-heels in love they can make a cozy home in turn-of-the-century New York with little more than the coins in their jam jar. But what's to be done about Christmas? When a strange twist of fate leads the young couple to find the perfect gifts for one another at an unexpected cost, Jim and Della learn the true meaning of the holiday. Classic Christmas carols punctuate this sweet and joyful retelling of the O. Henry story. Additional info: Generally, rehearsals run in the evenings, time depending on cast availability. For this show, directors are looking at a three-day rehearsal week (T, W, Th). This is subject to change.
