Kid Actors Needed for "A Midsummer Night's Dream" Play
Seeking performers ages 8-18 years old for "A Midsummer Night's Dream" Play. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Step into a world of magic, mischief, and romance in Shakespeare’s classic comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream. In this fantastical tale, love triangles, mistaken identities, and mischievous fairies collide, creating a whirlwind of chaos and enchantment. Set in a mystical forest where the boundaries between reality and magic blur, the play explores the unpredictable nature of love and the clash between human desires and supernatural forces. Additional info: To audition, please prepare a comedic, Shakespearean monologue (60-90 seconds). Submit your recorded monologue along with your audition form no later than November 3rd. Actors under the age of 18 may opt to perform a silly, comedic modern monologue (60 seconds) instead of Shakespeare. The majority of those who audition will be asked to attend callbacks on November 10th. Sides for callbacks will be sent out on November 4th for actors to review. We are excited to see your interpretations of these beloved characters! PERFORMANCE DATES: January 25-Feb 2. If interested, please apply.
