Seeking Kids and Teens for "A Christmas Story" the Musical

Seeking kids ages 8 and up for "A Christmas Story" the Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Set in the 1940s in the fictional town of Hohman, Indiana, the musical follows 9-year-old Ralphie Parker and his quest for the Holy Grail of Christmas gifts-an Official Red Ryder carbine-action 200-shot Range Model air rifle. Rebuffed at every turn with a similar echoing response, Ralphie plots numerous schemes to achieve his desperate desire for the coveted BB gun. Additional info: The audition will consist of two parts: singing and dance. Please bring tap shoes if you would like to audition for a tap role. Prepare a short (1 min. or less) song. Bring sheet music in the correct key for the accompanist. Directors will provide an accompanist for the auditions. Please plan to stay for a dance audition after you sing your prepared song. Rehearsals for A CHRISTMAS STORY will begin Monday, November 4, 2024. Production dates for A CHRISTMAS STORY, THE MUSICAL will be December 5-15, 2024. If interested, please apply.
