About the project: Set in the charming seaside town of Portofino, Italy, Love and Murder at Locanda Rossa is a hilarious and thrilling murder mystery that takes place at a quaint inn known for its colorful guests. Dick Gumshoe, a Chicago private eye, stumbles into the Locanda Rossa for what he hopes will be a quiet evening, but he soon finds himself tangled in a web of deceit, intrigue, and murder. The inn is filled with eccentric characters, each hiding their own secrets. Among them are Tara Heartout, a mysterious femme fatale; Donatella Secrets, the fiery innkeeper; and Cardino Shark, a gambler with a shadowy past. As love blossoms and tensions rise, a shocking murder throws the inn into chaos, and it’s up to Gumshoe—and the audience—to piece together the clues and uncover the truth behind the crime. With twists, turns, and plenty of comedic moments, Love and Murder at Locanda Rossa invites the audience to participate in solving the mystery, making each performance unique and engaging.
