Looking for a girl for a short film “Breathe”. Non-Union student short film shooting late August in the Charlottesville area. Logline: Kieran, a young man grappling with the recent death of a family member, finds himself struggling to navigate his grief after the funeral. While coming to terms with his own feelings, he must also bear his father’s anger and his sister’s innocence, hoping to somehow find a way to cope with the overwhelming loss. Kieran’s little sister, Soraya, is an innocent and naïve young girl. She clutches her teddy bear and looks up to Kieran for comfort. Soraya does not fully understand the permanence of death and believes her brother will return, adding to the emotional weight of the scene.
