Kid Actors Needed for "A Laura Ingalls Wilder Christmas"
Looking for kids ages 7-12 years old for "A Laura Ingalls Wilder Christmas" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: This show is just one act. There will be no intermission. Grieving the loss of baby Freddie (son) the Ingalls family moves west and is found helping run a hotel. Laura helps take care of the horses. Johnny Steadman likes to bother the girls, especially Laura. The girls prepare to sing on Christmas Eve. Then Laura overhears Mrs. Starr saying she and her husband adopt Laura. Ma and Pa tell the girls that they are expecting another baby. Laura struggles with if she should stay with Mr. and Mrs. Starr. They all celebrate Christmas and Pa informs the family they’re moving west again. Laura stays with her family and they head off to a new home. Additional info: Possible Callback Wednesday, October 9th 6:00 to 9:00 pm First Read Through Rehearsal: October 11th, 6:30 pm Directors will have people read separately and then together as well. Please plan to stay for at least 1 hour upon arriving. Also please be prepared to write down your weekday evenings and Saturday availability for October, November, and the first two weeks of December so directors can schedule rehearsals if you are cast.
