About the project: Returning to the Chautauqua Stage after an absence of 6 years, this adaptation of Dicken’s A Christmas Carol is a fast paced musical, adapted by Rodger Hoopman, with music by Rob Knable (additional lyrics and music by Warren Harrison). The show follows Ebenezer Scrooge, a miser, through an examination of his life and ways during the visits of three spirits on Christmas Eve. Additional info: Although the cast will be small, there are many characters. Actors will play more than one part. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script, a short singing audition (song of your choice – a Christmas carol is suggested, please bring your own sheet music).
