Paid Workshop Series "WARP" Needs Teen Talent

Rate: NON-EQUITY/NON-UNION. $1,322.10 for a total of 22.5 hours of project participation inclusive of HST. Additional information: ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS FROM: TORONTO/GTA. WORKSHOP SCHEDULE: Sunday, October 20th 12:00 – 4:00 Sunday, October 27th 12:00 – 4:00 Sunday, November 3rd 12:00 – 4:00 Sunday, November 10th 12:00 – 4:00 Sunday, November 24th 12:00 – 4:00* + 2.5 miscellaneous hours for research/showing. The last workshop on November 24th may include a showing to a small audience to gather feedback. LOCATION: All workshops will be located in Toronto. Please note, this is casting for collaborative participation in a workshop for early script development, not casting call for final production. Since this is a research-phase project, the casting may focus more on interest to explore the character motivations than exact age or physical attributes. Performance Skills: physical theatre, improvisation, dance agility, character development based on exploration of physical actions. Movement will be character-driven, and directors will experiment with a range of heightened and naturalistic movement styles. For more details regarding this project, please see the attachment.
