About the project: When Maria is the sole witness to an accidental family tragedy, she’s told it never happened, and now, she must decide what to do with the truth. Rate: Non-union. Paid. Principal Role. A young Filipina girl with bright eyes that send daggers when she's angry. Her home life is chaotic, and her mother's struggles leave her feeling confused and lost. She wants to be good but isn't sure what that means. The only comfort she finds is with her grandmother, the one source of warmth in an otherwise cold and distant household.
A cheerful Filipino boy with a bright smile and a sweet innocent face that makes him his mother's favorite. As the younger brother, he is often curious, and follows his sister's lead, getting her into trouble with their mother.
