ISO: Actor to play role of "Magnus" for upcoming Humber College Thesis Short Film 'Sinn Seanmhair' Sinn Seanmhair is a short film about a middle-aged woman, Cait who is mistakenly called after the death of her estranged mother, leaving her Gaidhlig-speaking grandmother, Eilidh, in her care. Given no time to process her grief, Cait must decide where Eilidh would best be cared for. Cait’s son, Magnus, a curious and sensitive boy, tries to better understand his family through their grief. Role Description: Magnus Age- 10-16 Gender- Male Ethnicity- White/ European Descent Actor will be needed all 3 days. Actor has a major speaking role and there is one scene where he hugs his mother, Cait. Please note we will be conducting in-person callbacks and virtual rehearsals beforehand. We will accommodate for a parent/guardian on set and there will be a minor coordinator involved.
