Casting Call for Boys and Girls for "A Christmas Carol" Show

Looking for kids ages 8 and up for "A Christmas Carol" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: In 1843 London, curmudgeon Ebenezer Scrooge settles down for what will become the most illuminating night of his life one lonely Christmas eve. The Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future guide Scrooge through a journey of redemption and, in the end, forgiveness. Highlighted with carols of the season throughout, A CHRISTMAS CAROL is the bi-annual Plaza tradition that has delighted generations. Additional info: Should the Production Team need to see anyone further for a Callback Audition, those who will be invited to attend will be notified by Monday, September 23rd at 7 pm. The Callback audition will be held the evening of Tuesday, September 24th at 7 pm at Plaza Academy (221 S. Mill Street, Cleburne TX). Everyone who submits an audition video will be notified of casting decisions regardless of whether or not they are cast. A CHRISTMAS CAROL will play on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings and Saturday afternoons opening on November 22nd and playing through December 23rd, 2024. Rehearsals will usually take place Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings until opening. No Sunday rehearsals or performances. Rehearsals will commence on or around Saturday, October 1st. When applying, please submit a completed video by 11:59 pm on Sunday, September 22nd. The video should include the singing of 32 bars of any traditional Christmas Carol and the reading of 1 line from the provided dialog sides. You should submit the video as part of filling out this Google Form to audition.
