Casting Call for Boys and Girls for "A Kitschy Christmas" Play

Casting ages 8 to 18 for a new original holiday musical, "A Kitschy Christmas". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Audition Requirements: Song Selection: If a specific song is not required, choose a piece that showcases your child's vocal range and acting abilities. Avoid songs that are too popular or overdone unless your child can bring something unique to the performance. Accompaniment or Vocal Tracks are not permitted. Directors require all auditioners to prepare the first verse of the song What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong. Directors have taken the liberty of providing a PDF version of the sheet music. Practice the Song: Help your child learn the lyrics, melody, and rhythm. Make sure the song is memorized. Audition Attire: Choose an outfit that is comfortable, neat, and allows your child to move freely. Hair should be neat and out of the face. If you have long hair, bring a hair tie in case you are asked to dance. Footwear: Jazz shoes are appropriate; however, auditioning in socks is completely fine.
