"Stories Untold" Teen Audition for the Theater
Teen auditions for the theater production of "Stories Untold." Please see the details below. About the project: Content Label: suggestive content, explicit language, discussions of death, onstage death. Stories Untold brings together five stories told from unlikely points of views: Flowers of Eden- A young Rose must discover what it means to be a flower in the lovely Garden of Eden and decide whether or not Apple is trustworthy. The First Fallen Angel- Lucifer loves God, but not all of the Lord's plans are infallible, and someone has to right the wrongs. The Sale of the Borden Bed and Breakfast- Lizzie Borden loves having the house all to herself in the afterlife- that is until an ambitious realtor starts trying to sell it to the next family. Threads- The Fates have woven humanity's strings of life for eons- can Paul convince them to save his brother? Reincarnation Station- On a fun Wheel of Fortune-esque game show, Contestant 4862 tries to get the ultimate afterlife prize. Additional info: Rehearsal Timeframe: October-December Evening Performances (7 PM): December 12, 13, 14 Matinee Performance (2 PM): December 15 Preparation Notes- No special preparation will be required, but encourage you to read the scripts ahead of time. Audition sides will be provided. Please wear clothes you are comfortable moving around in. Please note, that characters are listed by show, and their line weight only applies to said show (each show is 10-20 min). The directors are looking to double, or even triple cast, depending on the number of people who show up to auditions. Please see the attachment for details. If you are interested please apply.

Line Weight: Heavy Character: God’s favorite child. Lucifer is inquisitive and righteous, and though they want to believe in God’s plan, they also want to know what it is.
Line Weight: Medium Character: All-knowing. Kind, if a bit dismissive of Lucifer’s worries.
Line Weight: Medium Character: Ever an optimist. A devout follower of God, and Lucifer’s favorite sibling. Curious, almost to a fault.
Line Weight: None Character: Through their brief appearance, kind. Holding a baby in a warm and loving embrace.
Line Weight: Light Character: Conniving and apathetic. This human is a bad apple and rotten to their core.
Line Weight: Medium Character: A sassy teen with some murderous tendencies. She just wants to live her afterlife in peace.
Line Weight: Light Character: Keeping her father Matt’s spirits up after the loss of her mother. Loves a fixer upper, great at woodwork.
Line Weight: Medium Character: “The Spinner,” Fate of the present. Wise and composed, eldest of the Fates.
Line Weight: Medium Character: “The Allotter,” Fate of the past. Opinionated and not afraid to speak.
Line Weight: Medium Character: “The Inflexible,” Fate of the future. Quiet and demure, but growing tired of their role. The youngest of the Fates.
Line Weight: Medium Character: Warner’s younger brother. He loves his brother immensely, and would do anything to save him after being saved himself.
Line Weight: Very Heavy Character: Host of “Reincarnation Station.” A disembodied voice that interacts with contestants and audience members. They love their job, and are pretty “extra” about it.
Line Weight: Light Character: Disembodied voices that interact with the host and contestants. The contestants can not see them, but they can see the contestants. Extra Notes: We plan to cast or double cast 3-4 actors minimum in this role.
