About the project: Embark on a magical holiday tradition with R-ACT's live annual radio theater presentation, this year featuring Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, adapted for radio by William N. Robson. Join Alice as she takes a whimsical journey through the fantastical realm of Wonderland, where she encounters eccentric characters and discovers that the ordinary rules of logic are delightfully overturned. In this radio play of Carroll's timeless tale, the magic of Wonderland and its playful characters unfolds through the artful use of practical Foley sound effects, voice, and narrative. All proceeds will be donated to the Beaver County Humane Society. Additional info: Cold read from the script, no preparation needed. Seeking talented and versatile character actors for an upcoming radio adaptation of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland to be performed LIVE at the Segriff Stage December 5-8. Alice and the narrator will each play a single role, while the remaining actors will portray 3-4 different characters. Looking for performers who can create distinct and unique voices for each of their characters. British accents are preferred but not required. Performance dates: December 05-08, 2024 performed live.
