Jack is a tough yet vulnerable kid with a sharp wit and infectious energy, masking his struggles with a playful smile and a strong spirit. He has been through a lot, growing up faster than most kids his age due to the challenges at home. Beneath this exterior, he's a deeply empathetic and perceptive boy, longing for a normal, carefree childhood with the harsh realities he faces.
Lily is Jack's older sister, a resilient and guarded young woman who had to grow up quickly, especially during her mother's repeated absences. She's intelligent and perceptive, often the voice of reason in their household, but this burden has made her wary of letting others in. Despite her tough exterior, Lily possesses a deeply caring nature.
