Seeking young talent for singing auditions for "Cinderella 40." Please find the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Kids of all ages will love this retelling of the beloved fairy tale, filled with music, laughs, and a sparkle of magic. This musical comedy features elegant costumes and scenery and a cast of memorable characters including some conniving step-relatives, royals, everyone’s favorite resourceful Fairy Godmother, and Ella, of course. Additional info: Callback List: Posted on RLT’s website by September 26 (Thursday) at 12 pm Callbacks: September 26 (Thursday), 7-10 pm Cast List: September 30 (Monday) by 5 pm Rehearsals: October 10 – November 27; Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 7-10 pm, with some flexibility on weekends. There is no rehearsal on Thanksgiving Day and the day after. Tech rehearsals: November 30 (Saturday) and December 1 (Sunday) all day; exact times TBA Tech dress rehearsals: December 2 (Monday) and December 3 (Tuesday) at 8 pm Previews: December 4 (Wednesday) and December 5 (Thursday) at 7:30 pm Performances: December 6-8, 12-15, and 18-22 Strike: after closing performance on December 22. All cast and crew members are expected to assist with the strike (clearing the theatre of costumes, set, and props from the show). Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song in the style of the show. When in attendance at the Castle ballroom, they appear as proper court nobles in beautiful outfits, performing traditional ballroom dances that are fun and easy to learn: Polonaise, Waltz, Minuet, and the ever-popular Sneeze Polka.
