Kid Performers Needed for "Charlie And The Chocolate Factory"

"Charlie And The Chocolate Factory" Show is looking for performers ages 9-15 years old. Please see the details below. Additional info: SINGING: Please prepare 16 to 32 measures of a contemporary musical theatre song. There will not be an accompanist provided, so you may sing acapella or bring a track to sing along to. (A speaker will be available for you to connect your device.) Choose a song that best suits your voice and aligns with the character you're most interested in. DANCING: All auditioners will need to participate in the dance call held on the same night after the singing portion. The choreographer will teach you a short, simple combination, which you'll perform in a group. The dance call is primarily to assess your ability to handle basic movement. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes and appropriate footwear. ACTING: Sides will be provided after the singing and dancing portion of the auditions or at callbacks. Please note, not everyone will be asked to perform a scene from the show. The director will determine who is asked to stay and read. Some characters do not have audition scenes. REHEARSAL SCHEDULE: Rehearsals will start October 7th at the A Children’s Theatre of the Mesilla Valley rehearsal studio (101. N Alameda Blvd.) from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. These will only be music rehearsals. They will be Monday through Thursday. Callbacks (if needed): Sunday, September 15th from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. See the attachment for details.
