More details are below. About the project: In the cholera-stricken Old West, the closeted son of a traveling doctor starts to suspect that his father is a conman. Dr. Randall & Sons' Traveling Medicine Show is a psychological Western that explores how enticing it is to sell a lie – even to ourselves. Rate: ACTRA Union & Non-Union. LEAD ROLE. Skinny, closeted, reduced to the coin collector for his father’s medicine show as his younger brother gets all the attention. Wants his father’s approval. At heart just a lost, awkward teenager, but has a complicated anger in him that risks taking away his innocence.

DYLAN RANDALLMale13-17 y.o.White / Caucasian

LEAD ROLE. The younger brother who is often mistaken for the older, extremely muscular or broad-framed (but open to any physique that can visually be read as “strong”), a showboater who, deep down, is a very gentle soul. Abel in Cain’s body. Wants his brother’s approval. Note: One scene has him kissing a girl in his age bracket.
