Children Theatre Casting Call for "The Night of January 16th"

Kenosha, WI, United States
ID: 574036Exp: 9/8/2024
Description:

Kids in grades 4-12 from KUSD are invited to audition for "The Night of January 16th". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: To the world, he was a startlingly successful international tycoon, head of a vast financial empire. To his beautiful secretary-mistress, he was a god-like hero to be served with her mind, soul, and body. To his aristocratic young wife, he was an elemental force of nature to be tamed. To his millionaire father-in-law, he was a giant whose single error could be used to destroy him. What kind of man was Bjorn Faulkner? Only you, the jury, can decide. Additional info: Students are asked to perform one monologue from the attached monologues. These monologues do not need to be fully memorized, but the performer should be quite familiar with them. Rehearsal Information: Rehearsals will officially begin in September. Rehearsals will typically occur after school from 3:30 until 8:00. Rehearsals are currently planned to occur on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. A complete rehearsal calendar will be shared through KUSD Google Drive once the cast list is posted. Cast members are not permitted to miss more than three rehearsals unless absences were already scheduled, so please list all conflicts on your audition form. No absences will be allowed during tech rehearsals. Performance Dates: October 24-26, 31, November 1, 2024. If interested, please apply.
