About the project: A proposed copper mine pits the preservation of Indigenous sacred land against the survival of a rural town. Two young leaders, fighting to save their homes, become bitter political enemies. They also form an unlikely bond. Caught in an iconic battle over the identity of American soil, will these two dreamers be able to help their warring communities find common ground? Inspired by true events. Rate: Primary leads: $1,400 stipend, Supporting Leads $1,100-1,200 depending on role size. 12 shows total. Ensemble members will receive a $200-300 stipend depending on role size. Additional info: Rehearsals take place October 29th through January 17th- Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays 5 pm-9 pm, Saturdays 2-6 pm. You will not be called for every rehearsal! But generally, you need to be available at these times. Will take time off for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Tech week is January 17- Jan 23 weekends 9-5 and weeknights 5-10 pm.
