About the project: Properly titled, this Western comedy short centers on a good old-fashioned Mexican Standoff set in an old 1880s desert town. The circle grows in number and eccentricity as uninvited characters get wilder and wester. Ending in tussle and gunfire. Rate: Student / Grad shoot on a small budget. Additional info: Rehearsals Begin: October 5, 2024 Run/Shoot: October 27, 2024 – October 29, 2024 Please only submit if comfortable around fake weapons and varying levels of fight choreography. Rehearsing a couple of Saturday mornings and Sunday evenings in October. Visitor parking is available. Some roles are not required for the third day. The shoot will take place 10/27 - 10/29 deep in Tucson, with some overnight lodging available. Looking for strong comedic instincts and/or improv experience. Comfortable with fight choreography and performing with and around fake weapons encouraged to apply. Callback Dates/Times Sept. 16-20 via zoom.
