Seeking Kids and Teens for "Willy Wonka" Show

Actors between the ages of 8 and 17 at the time of auditions are invited to audition for the "Willy Wonka" Show. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Please prepare an audition song of your choice that is in an appropriate key for your voice and preferably in the style of the show. THE "DO NOT SING" LIST: In Summer, I See The Light, When Will My Life Begin, Lost Boy, Part of Your World, How Far I'll Go, You're Welcome, Castle on a Cloud, any song from Hamilton, any song from Greatest Showman) Prepared Audition Songs should have a karaoke or accompaniment track available on YouTube and should not exceed 1 minute & 15 seconds. Please bring a photo of yourself to turn in with your audition form. The rehearsal schedule is built around actors' availability after casting is complete, typically Monday through Thursday 6:30-8:30. Before the audition date you will receive an audition form via email to fill out, there will be a section where you will list conflicts. Conflicts during the performance and during tech week will impact casting. Callbacks: Sunday, September 29 at 6 pm. Rehearsals begin October 21, 2024. Performances: December 6 - 22, 2024 (Thursdays at 7:00, Fridays at 7:00, Saturdays at 2:00 & 7:00, Sundays at 4:00). Please be aware that the participation fee will be involved.
