Casting Call for Boys and Girls for "Tom 'n Huck!" Play

Looking for younger students (3rd and 4th grade) for "Tom 'n Huck!" Play. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: The well-known characters of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn embark on a new adventure when they run off to the swamp after being accused of stealing. There, they meet up with a woman who has been accused of being a witch and banished from town. Accidentally, the three overhear the suspicious Slade sisters plotting to scam the town and then witness the sisters’ partner kill someone who wanted in on the action. Together, our heroes try to clear their names while also saving the town from further crimes. Additional info: Show dates are Nov. 15, 16, and 17. Rehearsals will start Sep. 23 and will be held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30. The size of the child's part will determine how often he/she needs to attend; most students will not have to attend every rehearsal. Performances will be in the evenings of Nov. 15 and 16 and a matinee on Nov. 17. Students are expected not to miss ANY rehearsals during the week of Nov. 11 unless due to illness. Other absences, as long as they are noted in advance, are acceptable. If interested, please apply.
