Young Talent Wanted for "A Christmas Carol" Show

Looking for boys and girls to audition for "A Christmas Carol". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: "A Christmas Carol" is a delightfully reimagined take on Dickens’ enduring classic. A miserly and miserable man, Ebenezer Scrooge, greets each Christmas with a “bah humbug,” until he is visited one miraculous Christmas Eve by the Ghosts of Christmases Past, Present, and Future. Additional info: You will receive scenes. Please review them and come prepared to read multiple roles. Directors are looking to see how you interact with other actors, that you can take direction, and that you can make changes. Callbacks will be on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm. Rehearsal Information: You will begin rehearsals on Thursday, September 19, 2024. Measurements will be taken on this date. Rehearsal times are usually M/T/Th/F evenings and Saturday mornings. Saturday, November 16 & 23, may extend longer if needed. Please note: You will not necessarily rehearse 5 days per week every week for the entire rehearsal process. Directors are looking to see what rehearsal days are best for the cast. However, come November, you will likely rehearse more frequently. Please check your calendar and let directors know your conflict dates when you cannot attend a rehearsal so directors can schedule rehearsals for specific scenes to minimize conflicts. Directors want to point out that communication of subsequent conflicts needs to be with as much notice as possible. This is a Non-Equity production. Performance Dates: This is a four-weekend run. You must be present for all performances. Evening Shows: November 29 & 30, December 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21 at 7:30 pm. Matinee Shows: November 30, December 7, 14, 21 at 2:00 pm. Daytime Show: December 18. This is a daytime student production planned. Directors would like all cast members to be available during the day, but a conflict with this date will not impact casting.
