Casting Call for Boys and Girls for "Once On This Island"
Auditions for "Once On This Island" are open for performers ages 8 and up. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Bring sheet music in your key. An accompanist will be provided. Selections from the show or contemporary Musical Theatre are recommended. Please be prepared to dance in comfortable clothes and flat shoes or sneakers. Actors of all levels of experience, and body types are invited to audition, but due to the themes of the piece, actors of AA and Islander (Pacific, Caribbean, Indian, or African) background will be given preference in casting. Rehearsal Dates: Generally Monday-Friday, 6:30-9:30 pm Rehearsals begin Thursday, September 12 Tech/Designer rehearsals with revised schedule (some weekends) begin. Sunday, October 27 Performance Run: November 15 -December 8, 2024 Possible extension through December 15 (No show on Thanksgiving Day) Show Days: Thursdays, 7:30 pm, Fridays, 7:30 pm, Saturdays, 3 pm & 7:30 pm, Sundays, 3 pm If interested, please apply.

Various members of Ti Moune's island community. They are a crucial part of bringing color, life, and weight to the story. Will double in small character roles. Strong singers. Strong dance background a plus.
