Young Talent Wanted for "Shrek The Musical"

Teens in grades 9 and up areencouraged to audition for "Shrek The Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: "Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." Thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude, and over a dozen other fairy-tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek! Additional info: Please prepare a one-minute musical theatre song and a brief monologue. Rehearsals: Mondays 6-9 p.m. Wednesdays 6-9 p.m. Fridays 6-9 p.m. Some Saturdays 10-2 Oct. 2024-Jan. 2025 Specific scenes per date Additional rehearsals may be called, as needed.
