About the project: Set in 1964 against the evolving socio-political landscape of America, "Doubt: A Parable" is a compelling drama penned by John Patrick Shanley. In the Bronx, at St. Nicholas Church School, an institution that mirrors the nation's contemporary upheaval, the play unfolds. The story centers on Sister Aloysius Beauvier, the school principal who is staunchly traditional and inflexible in her beliefs. Her world is shaken when she develops grave suspicions about the conduct of the charming and progressive Father Flynn, the parish priest whose modern methods and demeanor earn him the love and respect of his community.
