Kid Actors Needed for "Melodramatics" Play

Seeking kids in grades 5-8 for "Melodramatics" Play. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Alda Best and her struggling theatre troupe must mount the melodrama of all melodramas to save their company in the midst of the Great Depression, but bank robbers have infiltrated their crew, determined to steal the show by digging up their stolen loot buried beneath the floorboards! Comical characters clash on and offstage in this wacky sendup of all things theatre! Additional info: Cuttings from the script will be available at auditions; no need to prepare a song! REHEARSAL INFORMATION: Rehearsals will be every Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 4:00 - 6:30 pm beginning Sept. 24th Daily Rehearsals (Monday - Friday) from 5:00 - 8:00 pm will begin at the end of October Tech Week (no absences) will be Sunday, Nov. 3rd - Thursday, Nov. 7th PERFORMANCE DATES Friday, Nov. 8th at 7:30 pm Saturday, Nov. 9th at 7:30 pm Sunday, Nov. 10th at 2:00 pm If interested, please apply
