Seeking Kids and Teens for "Mary Poppins" Show
Casting actors ages 9+ for fall Main Stage production of "Mary Poppins". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: Performance Dates: Nov 16th @ 7:30 pm Nov 17th @ 2:00 pm Nov 22nd @ 7:30 pm Nov 23rd @ 2:00 pm Nov 24th @ 2:00 pm Nov 29th @ 2:00 pm Nov 30th @ 7:30 pm Dec 1st @ 2:00 pm Rehearsal Dates: (Actors are not called every day): October 14 – November 15 Mon-Thurs 6-9 pm, Sat 10-4 pm or Sun 12-6 pm (Actors will not be called every day) A detailed rehearsal schedule will be sent upon casting. Callback Date: TBD Requirements: Bring 32 bars of a song in the style of or from the show. An accompanist will be provided. Bring headshot and resume stapled together. The high-spirited daughter of Mr. and Mr. Banks, is bright and precocious but can be willful and inclined to snobbishness. Vocal range top: F#5 Vocal range bottom: A3
The cute and cheeky son of Mr. and Mrs. Banks. Excitable and naughty, he adores his father and tries to be like him. Both he and Jane misbehave in order to get the attention of their parents. Vocal range top: E5 Vocal range bottom: A3
The houseboy to the Banks family. Lazy, sleepy and grumbling, he never gets things right and believes himself to be useless. Vocal range top: G#4 Vocal range bottom: F3
The statue of a young boy posed with a dolphin in the park. Neleus was separated from his father, Poseidon, and misses him very much. A small and lonely being, he is very happy to befriend Jane and Michael. This role is a wonderful opportunity to feature one of the strong dancers in your ensemble.
