About the project: The show tells the story of 11-year-old Mark coming of age in St. John’s, Newfoundland in the ’80s, a boy much older inside than his 11 years – using comedy and self-deprecation to win friends and connect with the small collection of people in his limited world. Stars: Malcolm McDowell, Mark Critch, Claire Rankin Rate: $500.00+ per day (ACTRA rate). Additional info: Each role would shoot for two days between August 13th and 21st, 2024, in St. John’s. Member of Ritche’s grunge band POTATOBUG. Rehearses in the garage at Ritche’s and performs at the Peace A Chord fundraising concert. NOTE: Real drummer needed. Audition will require a clear 60-second video clip of you actually drumming along to a grunge or rock tune of your choice as if you’re playing a big show. Role will shoot for two days between August 13 and 21st (and performer will likely be needed for two paid rehearsals possibly earlier.
