Casting performers in grades PreK-12th for "Sleepy Hollow: A Musical Tale". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: This new musical puts a current spin on the classic Washington Irving story The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. On Halloween night, three modern-day children find themselves traveling back in time to 18th-century New Amsterdam, arriving right in the middle of Sleepy Hollow with all its odd characters, traditions, ghosts, and goblins. They’ll need all their ingenuity to get back home to the present! Additional info: Choose a song of approximately 30 seconds (16 measures) that best showcases your voice! Try not to choose a song from the show. You are welcome to sing acapella, bring accompaniment, or bring sheet music and an accompanist will be provided. Present any monologue of your choice that is approximately 30 seconds. Use this to showcase your acting prowess! Dress for success! Put your best foot forward when you come to auditions. Remember! The panel is not judging or finding what you do wrong, but instead looking for what role you fit best with this production. Note that the production fee applies. Performances: October 18th & 19th.
