Young talent wanted for the upcoming singing of "White Christmas." Please review the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. With a dazzling score featuring well-known standards including "Blue Skies", "I Love a Piano", "How Deep Is the Ocean", and the perennial title song, "White Christmas" is an uplifting, wholesome musical that will delight audiences of all ages. Rate: All actors will receive a $350 stipend. Additional info: Callbacks Sunday, August 25, 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. PREPARE: 16-21 bars of a musical theatre song in the style of the show. Please bring sheet music as an accompanist will be provided. No taped music or a capella. Please have the music marked and in a 3-ring binder. Be prepared to sing and read from the script and score at your audition. BRING: Headshot, resume, list of conflicts REHEARSALS: Rehearsals will take place at Little Theatre Rehearsals begin on Saturday, October 12. Rehearsals will be on Saturday afternoons and Sunday afternoons or evenings. TECH WEEK: December 2,3,4,5 - 6:00-10:00 p.m. at the Lakewood Cultural Center PERFORMANCES: December 6-22 (14 Performances) Thursdays - Dec. 12 & 19 - 7:30 p.m. (6:00 call) Fridays - Dec. 6, 13, 20 - 7:30 p.m. (6:00 call) Saturdays - Dec. 7, 14, 21 - 2:00 p.m. (12:30 call) and 7:30 p.m. (6:00 call) Sundays - Dec. 8, 15, 22 - 2:00 p.m. (12:30 call) Actors are expected to assist with strike after the final performance.
