About the project: Travel through the wardrobe into the magical land of Narnia where the White Witch has cast a spell of never-ending winter. When almost all hope is lost, the return of the Great Lion, Aslan, signals a great change and an even greater sacrifice. Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy must battle the forces of evil and discover that love is the deepest magic of all. Additional info: Callbacks: Oct 26, 2024, 10 am-2 pm Rehearsals Begin: Jan 2 (Mon-Fri, 5:30-7:30 pm; Jan 27-Feb 7 rehearsals are 5:30-8:30 pm) School Time Performances: February 13 & 17, 2025 Public Performances: February 14-16, 2025 All auditionees are required to prepare a 30-second to 1-minute monologue. Auditionees should choose a monologue that shows off strong acting choices and that is age-appropriate. Memorization of your monologue is highly encouraged. A lion who is the King of Narnia. Aslan is part of a prophecy that claims he will return to Narnia and winter will be no more. Aslan is a very noble and brave character, ultimately sacrificing himself for the good of Narnia. Strong acting and physical presence needed.
The White Witch is a magical being who uses her powers to keep Narnia in a constant state of winter but denies the creatures of Narnia Christmas. Strong acting and physical presence needed.
The oldest of the Pevensie children, Peter acts as a father-figure towards his brother and two sisters. British accent required.
