Students in grades 4th-12th grade needed for the "Bye, Bye Birdie" audition. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: A loving send-up of the 1950s, small-town America, teenagers, and rock & roll, Bye Bye Birdie remains as fresh and vibrant as ever. Teen heartthrob Conrad Birdie has been drafted, so he chooses All-American girl Kim MacAfee for a very public farewell kiss. Featuring a tuneful high-energy score, plenty of great parts for teens, and a hilarious script, Birdie continues to thrill audiences around the world. Additional info: Callbacks to immediately follow from 6:00-8:00 pm Show Dates: November 7-10 NOTE: Callbacks will happen directly after initial auditions from 6-8, please plan to stay unless you are released after auditions. A self-confident young member of Conrad’s fan club who is chosen to receive a kiss from Conrad before he leaves for the army. She sees herself as more mature than the average teenager. Great singer, soprano.
