Young Talent Wanted for "Urinetown The Musical"

Seeking performers ages 15 and up for "Urinetown" The Musical. Please see the details below. Additional info: The audition will feature cold readings from the script. You do not need to prepare a monologue. There are many named parts within the play that will be utilizing members of the ensemble. Ensemble members are considered principal members of this show and are vitally important to presenting Urinetown The Musical. Ensemble members will be on stage for almost the entire show in various roles and costumes. Notes for vocal auditions: The vocal auditions will be using cuts from Urinetown The Musical. Please learn all the music for the character(s) you are auditioning for. If you want to audition for multiple characters, learn all their audition cuts. At auditions, you will also be asked to vocalize through your vocal range. Please come to auditions with your entire range warmed up. (see the attachment for audition material) Notes for dance auditions: A short dance piece will be taught to everyone at the audition. Please come prepared with appropriate clothing that will allow a free range of movement. directors do not care if you look good or are clad well. Do not wear any footwear that does not slide.
