"The Big One-Oh! JR." Show is looking for performers who are 7-14 years old. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Charley Maplewood has never been one for parties – that would require friends, which he doesn’t have. Well, unless you count his monster friends, but they’re only imaginary. But now that he’s turning the big one-oh-he decides to throw a birthday party for himself, complete with a “House of Horrors” theme. Of course, things don’t work out as he plans. Will Charley be able to pull it together before the big one. . . becomes the big OH-NO!? Additional info: Prepare 16-32 bars of an age-appropriate song in your range that also shows off your acting skills! Complete these two forms attached (Audition Form & Attendance Policy) prior to arriving for your audition. It is preferred for the Audition Form to be filled out on a computer so that all fields are completed and legible. The form works best when opened and completed in Adobe Acrobat (not a web browser). Arrive on the day of your audition at least 10 MINUTES early to sign in and be sure to bring the following: -A BACKUP TRACK OF YOUR SONG ON A PHONE (no singing can be on the backup track). You can bring SHEET MUSIC too, but an accompanist may not be available, so please be sure to bring a a backup track. -YOUR COMPLETED AUDITION FORM & ATTENDANCE POLICY -ALL MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY CONFLICTS (including holidays) FROM August 2 – September 28, WRITTEN ON -THE BACK OF THE AUDITION FORM. Please include any vacations! Directors require ALL cast members to be available for every night of tech rehearsals and ALL shows. (Conflicts added after casting may result in being asked to step down from the show.) CLOTHES THAT YOU CAN DANCE IN.
