Young Talents Needed for 'Changing Tides' Movie
A movie to be shot next summer; June 2025, in Milledgeville, GA. This will be a 1-2 day shoot. Exact dates TBA. Non-union. Non-paid. Snacks and drinks will be provided onset. The plot concerns the transition from paganism to Christianity in Medieval Europe. Will be shot entirely in indoor sets. Script features fantasy elements. This will be a ninety-minute feature-length movie that will be entered into international film festivals in the US, England, Germany, and Italy. I am casting a year in advance for logistical purposes; feature-length movies require an advanced level of planning.

Emotionally mature boys needed to play medieval monks who are wise beyond their years. Must be able to convey stoicism mixed with fear. Scenes with the monks include taking communion and confession, copying the Bible, and huddling together when they plunged into mortal danger. Their scenes will be featured throughout the runtime of this feature. The majority of the monks do not need to be singers, but singers with strong voices will be highlighted in scenes where they sing Latin liturgy.
Ember is a small feisty dragon who serves as the lifelong companion to Nora, the queen of the elves. Ember communicates through growls and snarls. This will be a highly physical role. Actress must be physically agile enough to scamper around on all fours and twirl herself around a little. Heavy makeup and prosthetics will be applied. Ember has no speaking lines. All of her emotions are conveyed through body language, facial expressions, and snarls. Dies tragically at the end of the movie.
