Young Talent Wanted for "Oliver" Musical

Seeking youth ages 7-18 years old for "Oliver" Musical. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: All youth ensembles will sing a section of music from “Food, Glorious Food.” Please use the Audition Cuts link attached to find the music for the vocal audition. In the folder, you will find sheet music, a lyric sheet, a melody accompaniment recording, and an accompaniment-only recording. These resources are here to help your child learn the song prior to the audition. On audition day: Arrive at least 10 minutes before your child’s scheduled audition time, and then they will be directed to the audition space. Only the child auditioning will be allowed in the audition room. They can have their sheet music or lyric sheet for the audition. The entire group will go in together, sing the audition song a few times as a whole group with the Music Director and Accompanist, and then sing the song again in smaller groups. Some may be asked to sing individually. After directors have heard everyone in that time slot sing, the auditioners will learn some choreography as a big group, and then perform in smaller groups. After choreography, the kids will be done for the day. Directors will have callbacks for specific roles such as Oliver and Artful Dodger on Wednesday, July 31st from 6:00 pm -9:00 pm.
