Child Open Roles for Short Film "The Mudman"
The independent short film "The Mudman" is looking for actors ages 9 and up. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: There will be simulated wounds and blood on set the day of filming. The filming is being planned for this fall, September/ October. The audition script is attached. When applying, please follow these steps when making your video submission: 1. Please tell directors your NAME, HEIGHT, AGE (if under 18), DESIRED ROLE & LOCATION. Make sure to speak clearly and include all of the details above. 2. Please perform the scene(s) provided for your chosen character.

Stylish and trendy, with a modern and slightly disinterested demeanor. Practical and grounded, often skeptical of legends and mysteries. Though she appears disinterested, she cares deeply for those she's responsible for and can be fiercely protective. Must be able to convey a range of emotions, from indifference to deep concern.
Small and wide-eyed, with an innocent and curious look. Imaginative, fearless, and full of boundless energy. Charmed by stories and legends, she has a natural sense of wonder. Must be able to portray both childlike enthusiasm and moments of vulnerability.
Tall with a curious and determined energy about him. Passionate about history and mythology, driven by a desire to honor his great-grandfather's legacy. He has a kind heart and a protective nature. Must be able to depict a mix of enthusiasm, determination, and moments of self-doubt.
