Casting Teen Performers for "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"

Auditions for its production of "The Hunchback of Notre Dame". You must be 16 yrs. old at the time of auditions. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Based on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney animated feature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame showcases the film’s Academy Award-nominated score, as well as new songs by Alan Menken (Newsies, Little Shop of Horrors, Beauty and the Beast) and Steven Schwartz (Godspell, Pippin, Wicked). Peter Parnell’s new book embraces story theatre and features verbatim passages from Hugo’s gothic novel. Additional info: Auditionees: Please prepare 16-32 bars (or about 1 minute) of any Musical Theatre song in the style of the show. You can choose a piece from the show if you wish. Please bring clearly marked sheet music, in the appropriate key that you will provide for an accompanist. While memorization is not mandatory, teams do encourage it to promote a successful and engaging audition. Time permitting, you may be asked to take part in a cold read after your vocal audition.
