Casting Teen Performers for "A Party to Murder"
Casting performers ages 14 and up for "A Party to Murder" Play. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: A Party to Murder is a murder mystery set in a country estate in Connecticut in 1936. It follows Francine Bentley, Kay Chandler, and Inspector Holbrook. Francine is trying to organize a birthday party for her friend, Abigail Pennyworth, while Kay (Francine's assistant) is trying to overcome being ridiculed and ostracized by the socialites who are visiting the house. During the party, a storm takes out the power, and upon the lights being restored, one of the visitors is found dead. Inspector Holbrook attempts to figure out who the murderer is, while Francine tries to keep the house from tearing itself apart. Additional info: For the auditions, you will read two monologues. You may either choose one of the monologues/ dialogue provided in the attachment and bring one of your own monologues OR you may read two monologues/dialogue attached. WHAT TO EXPECT: Sign up for a time and arrive during that time window, i.e., 5 pm-6 pm, etc. Bring a headshot and resume. Sign in when you arrive. Fill out the Auditions Form.
