Child Auditions for Musical Production "Elf Jr."

Child auditions are open for the musical production "Elf Jr.". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: REHEARSALS: Begins Aug. 13 Tuesdays: 5:30-8:30 pm TECH WEEK: November 18, 19, 20 PERFORMANCE DATES: November 22 & 23 Auditions include three parts (music/acting/dance). Music Audition: Prepare 45-60 seconds from a Disney movie or Broadway show. Check out some of the music from Elf Jr. and find a song that suits the style of the show. Acting Audition: Will provide mini-monologues from Elf Jr. The director is looking for strong, fun character choices - not mimicking the movie but really making the characters your own. This show has a lot of great parts! Dance Audition: Please dress in a manner befitting an audition, but also with a level of comfort so you can move in the dance portion of the audition. Jazz shoes are best, but sneakers are also acceptable. Please see the attachment for details. If you are interested please apply.
