Looking for singers ages 12 and above for "The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein" in concert. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Despite numerous red flags, a Grand Duchess promotes a handsome Private in her army to General, leading to unintentional and hilarious consequences in this delightful comic opera. Rate: Unpaid. Additional info: Please prepare one verse of a song in English and bring sheet music in the appropriate key for the provided accompanist. Please do not audition a cappella. You may be asked to perform a cold reading of dialogue at the audition. Performance Dates: August 30 - September 1, 2024 The F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre, Rockville, MD Rehearsal Schedule Rehearsals begin Tuesday, July 30, 2024 Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays | 7:30 - 10 PM Bethesda Presbyterian Church Come be a part of this whimsical production.
