Casting Call for Boys and Girls for "Carousel" The Musical Show

Audition for "Carousel" Show. Seeking kids ages 8 and up. Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: his production of the classic musical will tell the raw and honest cautionary romance of Billy Bigelow and Julie Jordan with sensitivity and care in a way unlike any production you have seen before, in a powerful and moving theatrical experience. Additional info: For your audition, prepare a monologue and a song selection, either from the show, or from a different show of similar style, each no more than one minute long. Provide sheet music or have recorded accompaniment on hand. A dance combination will be taught in groups; wear dance attire or clothing you can move in including shoes (character/stage shoes, flat heel shoes such as ballet or jazz shoes). Each audition appointment will last up to an hour long. If callbacks are needed, they will take place on August 13. Please indicate if you are available on your conflicts.
