A casting call is open for boys and girls for the stage play "Twisted". Please refer to the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. About the project: Twisted: An 80’s musical set in the Victorian era. Additional info: Each person will have ONE opportunity in front of casting team to audition VOCALS and DANCE. Some lead and supporting roles are open to audition as an understudy role only. Anyone who would like to be cast in any role in either Twisted must complete both the vocals AND dance audition process in order to be considered for ANY ROLE at callbacks. Every cast member will sing AND dance at some point in the show. Callbacks are specific to each show and will include sides/scenes, songs, and dances. When the weight of unresolved trauma pulls Ebenezer into cycles of depression and alcoholism, he commits the ultimate betrayal of convenience in the arms of Mary’s best friend.

Destitute and homeless child left to beg for help from passersby in the dead of winter in the industrial quarter of London, England. Soloist in ‘Another Day in Paradise’. The Poor Child’s innocence and generous love, as she offers Scrooge a rose on Christmas Day in ‘I Want to Know What Love Is’, is also symbolic of Christ’s unending, redemptive love for us. Ebenezer Scrooge as a child. Having experienced extreme loss in the death of his mother, Ebby turns to his father for comfort but is neglected and then physically and emotionally abused. As a result of this loss and neglect, Ebby’s societal status changes and he begins to be bullied by the boys at school. At this time, one faithful friend emerges to temporarily fill the void in Ebby’s heart. Mic’d Cast. Advanced vocal and acting skills required, some dance.

Devastated by the loss of his wife, Mr. Scrooge struggles to recover. The only respite from the pain comes from drowning his sorrows in bottles of alcohol which leaves him struggling financially, angry and abusive toward his son.
