ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. The musical "Anastasia" is looking for talent ages 6+. More details are below. Additional information: Callbacks will be Sunday, July 28th between 5-9pm. Featured Dancer roles can be either speaking or non-speaking roles. Rehearsal commitments will vary by role, and will not always be all 3 slots or the entire time slot. There will be the occasional flexible/virtual commitment in August (read through, costume fittings, music one on ones). Starting in September, rehearsals will be: Sundays 1-5pm or 1:30-5:30pm; Thursdays 5:30-9pm; Fridays 5:30-9pm. When applying, please send your virtual audition.

Young Anastasia/AlexiFemale6-13 y.o.All ethnicities

About 1 min of any song, and 30-60 seconds of a monologue or story - do your best to memorize! If in-person, you’re welcome to bring in a karaoke/ backing track or give us the name of one we can find online for you. Please note: This performer will ideally play both young Anastasia in some scenes, and her little brother Alexi in others. Young Anastasia plays age 5, and Alexi plays age 13. Singing range of C4-C5, minimal dancing.

Featured dancersBoth genders12-18 y.o.All ethnicities

Please send a short video of you dancing en pointe. If you would like to be considered for a speaking/ singing ensemble role as well, please also submit following the requirements below or attend the general auditions (only if also interested in singing/speaking). Featured dancers will play Teen Anastasia and the other Royal Romanov sisters throughout, double as the dancers of the Swan Lake Ballet, and have opportunities for featured dance in ensemble numbers.
