Dance Opportunities for Teens in "Legally Blonde" the Musical
Teens age 17 and up are invited to audition for "Legally Blonde the Musical". Please see the details below. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE ACCEPTED. Additional info: You will present a one-minute monologue of your choosing, sixteen bars of one of the below songs based on the character you are auditioning for (if auditioning for multiple roles, please pick whichever song you prefer), a song of your choosing to showcase your vocal abilities (no longer than three minutes and no less than one), and the choreography routine. This video will be sent separately once this form is submitted. For your audition, please wear comfortable clothing and footwear such that you can dance and move freely. Come prepared with your music on a mobile device that can connect via cord or Bluetooth to our speaker. Acapella songs are also accepted. Choreography will not be taught during the auditions. The routine will be sent out in advance for all actors to practice with prior to auditioning. It is expected that everyone comes prepared with their choreography routine. Be prepared to be stopped or asked to make changes to your performance. The directorial team may see some aspect of your audition that they would like to explore with you.
