Kid Actors Audition For Western Feature Film

About the project: Harriet Beckwith embarks on a harrowing journey from war-ravaged Virginia to the untamed lands of Ohio, seeking solace on a homestead left behind by her late husband. Alongside her three children, the road west proves treacherous as they confront killers and thieves, testing the limits of their strength and determination. Tragedy strikes when her children fall victim to violence (at the hands of Daniel Manlius, played by wrestler Al Snow), unleashing a torrent of overwhelming sorrow and anger within Harriet. Fueled by a newfound purpose, Harriet forms an alliance with a group of misfits, forging an unconventional army to wage war against the formidable men who seek to destroy her. "DOGWOOD" is a tale of survival, revenge, and the enduring strength of a mother's love as Harriet confronts the darkest depths of human nature to protect what is rightfully hers. Rate: $125/day. 4 Filming days. Additional info: This is a period-correct Western film taking place in 1865. Horse wranglers will be on set all days horses are used in the scene. Armorer will be on set all day’s prop firearms are used. The stunt/fight choreographer will be on set for the bar scene. Filming in Beaver, OH, and Chillicothe, OH. Minor roles: Parent/guardian will be on-set and within view of your child at all times. Both roles are killed by gunshot wounds.
