Born on June 12, 1929, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, Anne Frank and her family moved to Amsterdam to escape Nazi persecution. She started writing in her diary on her 13th birthday and chronicled their life in hiding until they were discovered by the Gestapo on August 4, 1944.
Margot Frank, or Margie Frank, was a Jewish girl (as well as the sister of Anne Frank) who suffered 2 years in the peruvelous attic her family hid in from the Nazis, a German group that's goal was to banish all Jews.
